The Massive "to do" list!

Here's a list - mostly in no specific order - this list is the current "to do" of Herocraft and anything pertaining. This means we actively need help with developing, building or fixing things on this list. In order to better address issues, they will be split up into servers/shards. There is no ETA for any of these features - it's a WORK IN PROGRESS.

Overall:
  • Quests / Rewards and basic scripts
  • Add a server GUI shop for physical currency.
  • Add Loyalty Rewards for players logging in every day.
  • Find a method to grant horse riding for all users (for a currency cost)
  • Have purchasable horses for souls or in store purchase\
  • Tune mythicmobs and prepare for full feature implementation.
  • Add a login message stating the user is not subscriber or premium.
Heroes:
  • Fix the message of tool/weapon removal due to class restrictions within Heroes
  • Create new level class titles
  • +5 level increase (New skills / skill re-arranging and attributes increases)
  • Add combat-pet Heroes skills for pet-classes
  • Add exp potions for single-user 25% boost for 30 minute duration
  • Add different methods to obtain skills (Level up, purchase, quests, other players, tomes found in the wilds)
  • Add Brewing EXP for Alchemist and the like.
  • Add tracking to HeroTitles for master all of a path (Grandmaster/ Master titles)

  • Fix Bow damage
  • Make it so if you are solo, /hero roll need - is set, but when in a group it defaults to having to select for it.
  • Shields drain stamina while being held.
  • EXP boosts should actually add to the timer instead of resetting it. So if a boost is already active for a 100% with 30 minutes remaining, someone buying a 150% boost for 1 hour would add an hour and change it to 1.5 hours.

  • Reduce relics from 5 to 3 for ease of use and to save inventory space.
  • Create a week day / time based plugin to fire off events, commands, conquest points and war.
  • Streamline skills and ensure they are efficiently coded.
  • Re-visit T2 Ultimate skills and re-introduce for better effectiveness.
  • Resolve oddities with Runeshard and other state based effects causing instant death.
  • Add high risk / high reward class
  • Create strong / weak requirement formula based off a players UUID to allow for lightweight custom randomized class requirements between X classes with no repeats.
  • Add a command / item to grab the players next required class in the randomized uuid formula class req.
Adventure:
  • Revamp the item creation plugin based off new, complex configs.
  • Advanced Crafting (Will use item framework heavily)
  • Set up an arena area for players not wanting to leave Adventure to test their gear
  • Finish region setup of major 13 zones.
  • Decide on shops / merchant NPCs and sell values
  • Build main towns.
  • Build dungeons.
  • Build arenas.
  • Paste in old towns
  • Redo the Lore of the server to better match the future projects.
Websites:
  • Hook RPG/economy database to display / rank Heroes stats for players.
  • Create a new front page.
  • Implement "per player" profiles to showcase inventory/levels/township information
  • Move Wiki to be within Forums for better management and less spam attacks.
  • Upgrade Forums to latest.
  • Resolve Captcha Issues
  • Resolve SEO issues

  • Convert most Skill Firework effects to new Effects API @Ampayne2
  • Optimize Heroes saving to be asynchronously. 80%
  • Fix the message of tool/weapon removal due to class restrictions within Heroes
  • Change Totem Size to be taller and less wide.
  • Balance Patch (On-going)
  • Rework Shaman
  • Implement Samurai
  • Create level 70 class titles
  • Level 70 increase (New skills / skill re-arranging and attributes increases)
  • Add combat-pet Heroes skills for pet-classes
  • Add exp potions for single-user 25% boost for 30 minute duration
  • Lower the harshness of attributes diminishing return and also the overall effectiveness of all attributes to prepare for custom items and assist with new-users understanding how they function.
  • Add information to better help users understand attributes and that they are not a 1:1 ratio
  • Silence all Lightning skills to not be WORLD wide and throw a custom sound instead. Thanks @Oxnaomi
  • Add different methods to obtain skills (Level up, purchase, quests, other players, tomes found in the wilds)
  • Resolve possible saving conflicts/issues that have been appearing randomly.
  • Add high risk / high reward class

PVP:
  • Objective control points for PVP hot spots and loot - 50% done
  • Add portal to the Arena server
  • Remove Tutorial Island and replace to Central
  • Implement Capturable Outposts to Reward and direct World PVP.
PVE:
  • Re-generate terrain to be less difficult to traverse
  • Add portal to the Arena server
  • Remove Tutorial Island and replace to Central
Central:
  • Add tutorial island to hub for optional use (but heavily preferred/swayed to use)
  • Sign colorization for signs
  • Re-design Hub to be more immersive (Ships to servers/shards, cave for test, arena for arena, etc)
  • Draw up sketches for the exact Landing specifications including Trade District
  • Create trade-district (only after inventory persistence is complete) and remove from other servers
  • Hologramize hub, making it easier for humans to understand.
Adventure:
  • Finish the map overviewer for the Adventure map with Points of Interest and Lv. Range in floating Text.
  • Use custom items framework to build an item creation plugin to send data/drop/loot table to MythicMobs
  • Advanced Crafting (Will use item framework heavily)
  • Bench-test MythicMobs in a live-environment and report to dev
  • Set up an arena area for players not wanting to leave Adventure to test their gear/loot
  • Provide complete list of areas and points of interest
  • Decide on shops / merchant NPCs and sell values
Websites:
  • Introduce new "front" page to advertise / announce Herocraft more effectively
  • Re-write hc.to/vote to pull from the new GAListener instead of our VotifierScripts SQL
  • Hook RPG/economy database to display / rank Heroes stats for players on the new front page
  • Implement "per player" profiles to showcase inventory/levels/township information
  • Remove current white-list process in favor of Forum > Game access (users will need to sign up on the website which then will automatically update their user rank in game
  • Clean up the hc.to/store site - add more packages, consolidate packages, add more micro-blocks.
  • Move Wiki to be within Forums for better management and less spam bots.
  • Upgrade forums to latest 1.3.2
  • Resolve SEO issues

Does this mean the building hasn't Started yet? And will the Custom items add the concept of weight? Like having a 2 hand-er sword would slow you down?

I like the idea of Pyro getting another skill, hehe. Will these be each class' new strongest skill or will the current trump-card skills remain at the final level with a new skill somewhere before it?

XD Grr! I wanted to make some of those dungeons >.< AHH!
you are still welcome to make dungeons in single player and show them - if they're good we'll use them :) - just be easy on the redstone, etc. They're more for looks and we'll fill them with chests/mobs/quests.

Not really sure how I feel about the whole instant member sign up thing over whitelist apps. We're gonna get a lot more trouble makers and youngsters. Not like new players are being limited too much on shrine while they wait for their whitelist to get accepted. No pvp and less souls/exp...not horrible. But maybe it'll give mods more to do with the new trouble makers. Then again, maybe I don't know/understand the full details or the big planned picture so I probably shouldn't judge just yet.

Gonna be kinda sad seeing the proctors' job essentially disappear though.
