Just wondering what war movies you all enjoy. My favorite over all is Enemy at the Gates, about two snipers playing cat and mouse during the invasion of Stalingrad.

Idk how far back war you mean, but Kingdom of Heaven for the crusade, and between Platoon and Forest Gump for Vietnam.

My favorite gotta be Alexander. It's about Alexander the Great who qonquered all of Persia, parts of India and planned to take Carthago and Rome. Too bad he died at the age of 32 in Babylon. (He was Macedonian by the way)

I second this; Sean Connery as Captain Marko Ramius never looked so fine...

Although Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, and Lawrence of Arabia are also respectable choices.

All Quiet on the Western Front I suppose. Though I also liked the book. I find the great war the most interesting.
