Spawner Help

I'm working on a single player project right now, but I need to know what to type in to make a spawner spawn certain mobs using worldedit or SPC. Right now I have no control over what comes out of the spawner. any help please?

I know you can change it in MC Edit, not sure if you can in anything else.

Risugami has a mob spawner mod. You can right click the spawner and a GUI pops up where you can choose the mob you want it to spawn. If you aren't up for modding, the next viable option is MCedit like Mormon siad

Alright i found a 1.8.1 mod that works nicely. Now if only there was a spawner for giants.
