Some sort of a forum chatbox?

I'm in a Battlefield clan and on their forum they have a chatbox/shoutbox. I think it was brought up in some other thread but it never was added.

Something similar to this would be a cool addition to the forums IMO.

Not too interested in it tbh. That's why we have IRC

The addition of a shoutbox takes away from the forums themselves. This also this inadvertently encourages spam and discourages reading important threads. Not to mention, most players are usually using IRC or TeamSpeak in order to communicate while gaming.
