Suggestion Level 1 skills.

Specifically looking at Warrior and Rogue, they lack any full on useful anti-mob skills at level 1. Just, personally, leveling from 1-10 or 20 without a skill that does some decent DPS gives Warriors and Rogues 2 disadvantages...

1) Mobs can, and will, overwhelm them. At night, I get a healthy swarm of 2-4 Zombies/Skeletons folowing me around, and with the low HP and low damage at those levels, if I can't constantly knock back the zombies and skeletons I will ultimatly lose. Clerics have smite + heal for low DPS and a heal while Casters have their fireball.

2) Low level PvP is far tilted towards casters when it is 1v1. Casters hit hard and Clerics have heal and ranged smite.

Now, level 1 skills I would like to see added. I feel these skills can and will go with warriors and rogues till the very end.

These are some ideas I came up with...

Warrior level 1 skill - Advance
- Sweep at a group of enemies effortlessly, 10% chance to stun for 1 second and dealing 8 damage to upto 2 enemies. Cooldown: 5 Seconds. MP Cost: 10.
- - For warrior specs, the skill is the same, but it deals 13 damage to upto 3 enemies. Cooldown: 5 seconds. MP cost: 15.

Rogue level 1 skill - Stab
- Quickly stab at an enemy and retreat back. Deals 10 damage and makes you jump back 2 blocks. Cooldown: 7 seconds. MP cost: 10.
- - For Rogue specs, the skill is the same, but it deals 15 damage, and continues to make you jump back 2 blocks. Cooldown: 7 Seconds. MP cost: 10.

I disagree with this strongly. Lower levels shouldnt have anything at all. what they have is a blessing.

Every rpg i have played including pokemon, you get crap when youstart or nothing, most times its nothing.

you have to venture out and EARN IT...

i firmly believe that that all classes shouldn't get a skill till level ten. What they have know, is beyond lucky. i think they should all have to venture out and beat each other and mobs with a STICK........ :)

but hey, its my opinion, all mine.... i am off to wander round in the tall grass....

Level 1 pokemon have an attacking skill at level 1, and 1 debuff or buff (potion) (level 5 in pokemon).

is this pokemon?? no this is HeroCraft.. :)

Still. In almost every game, MMORPGs especially, almost every class comes out of charecter creation with 3 things...

A basic attack - Lowest damage output, but costs nothing.
A skill or two - Better damage than basic attack, but has an MP cost/cooldown.
A buff, debuff, or heal - For that basic, anti-mob/party bonus.

Find me a current, combat based RPG, game that doesn't have one of those three.

Boom Plasma. Also, coming from a healer, there are no heals till like lvl 20. At level 1 we have smite yes, but rogues and warriors can wear pretty good armor, which almost makes it OP. So if you want so low level skills, you're going to have to drop the armor capabilities.

I think healers are fine, seeing how low dmg they do, but casters are out of control. Fireball should be weakened unless used with a hoe as a modifier.
Ex: Wood hoe allows fireball use, stone hoe allows fireball use at half current dmg, iron hoe allows current fireball use at .75 dmg, diamond hoe allows fireball use with current damage, and gold hoe allows 1.2 times current fireball damage.

Makes warrior's leveling abit easier, seeing how they are the hardest class to level. And it makes sence for some one who is biting another to eat/heal

Bandage is 10 lvl spell, also gives 2 exp on effective use.

Thats just LOL. You have no idea about warrior's and rogue's leveling issues. Rogues can wear leather armor BUT it breaks after few mobs, and farming Cows is so painful and it takes time. Casters meanwhile can level up 5-10 lvls.
Warrior can wear leather set and iron chest. Iron chest is quite durable but it only compensate lower dmg than rogues (warrior 5, rogues 7).
(I leveled up rogue)
