Yeah, I'm watching SF thread, so I get updates, Just never have anything to say.

Dragon is only the code name.

and also can there be more? odds are a few of us cant even get on due to reserves and full server - just a thought.

considering the coin wipe and mass reset, i dont see how anyone can afford a plot for a few days at least

thats why i want to know the costs. i could get one fairly quickly i believe... dragged in 200 gold in 4 hour mining trip atleast.

i am stil waiting to see if the plot are protected. so far everythingi have seen, heard and read, says no.
only protected areas ie no-pvp, is bank, spawn, and shop/bazar. towns will be regioned, but everything else.. free game.

It's probably going to cost about the same as Zeal plots or more...

And spawn plots will have their own regions, but yes pvp will be on still even in them.

There will be certain protected areas as already stated and herogates to them within the spawn to avoid that kind of thing. I think Kain wants to see how it goes at first and if it proves to be an issue with pvp on maybe he'll change it... we'll have to see.

spawn is protected.
as is bank, dhx, bazars area. and your regular towns stuff.

its gunna be like gold rush of '49 some will be there to make it rich, while others will be there to take the riches.

So wait- how will enchanting be handled? I see the mark through Enchanter profession but I don't know what the explanation is.

I was under the impression enchanting will not be in 3.0... It was too hard to restrict at this time is what I heard. But I may be wrong.

It is not that it is too hard to restrict it is more a balance thing.
Currently using the base enchant system means that Sword wielders have a distinct advantage over other classes.

Really? I was fairly sure I could quote Kainzo saying "It's too hard to restrict atm" on the test server.

now i don't have any quotes or anything but... with restrictions being too hard? i believe that restricting it would be easy (for example it could be a passive skill of being able to use it for enchanter or w/e)... but i agree that sword wielders have too great of an advantage.

just an opinion on enchanting.
