Falkova.
A blossoming and vibrant region just outside of the New Atlas Empire. While this small town is hardly as impressive as others, and does not nearly stand up to the awe-inspiring New Atlas - Falkova is quickly expanding and becoming more reputable by the day.

The town of Falkova is understanding and accepting. The players here are kind and compassionate, and rather than ruling with an iron fist, the two Lords of Falkova - Origen_is_sam and JerCoolDude - rule together to bring peace and prosperity to their lands.

----------------------INFORMATION-----------------------
Falkova is largely accepting of new people, and while no one is turned down, there are a few things you may wish to know.

1, Membership: This town is comprised of new people. People who are - yes I'm going to say it - Noobs. There is nothing wrong with being new to Herocraft, and while Herocraft is an amazing and truly enjoyable RPg experience, it can be punishing at times. Falkova does not aim to be a permanent home, but rather a launching point where players can stay and live safely while the accumulate coins and resources. After reaching significant level and coin, members often leave. Of course, players are always encouraged to stay, and we always appreciate having active town members who can help newer players. Just keep in mind when joining that the town is very simple, being comprised of mainly new players. If you are new to Herocraft, or need a place to stay without fear of theft or griefing while you get on your feet, Falkova is the place for you.

2, Taxation: The rent of Falkova is set to the most efficient rate of 1% Taxation. There are multiple reasons for this, the foremost being that if you are a new player, you will not have a lot of coin. It takes players days to accumulate enough money for an actual taxation, and having a set rate instead of a percentage would be deleterious rather than beneficial to many members. Since it taxes 1% of your money, when you have only a single coin in your balance, the taxation will take only 0.01 coins from you. Having 10 will take 0.1, 100 in turn will take one coin, and so on. This makes it impossible to be auto kicked due to idle time, and contributes to newer players. Note that an extended period of idleness can still result in manual removal of town membership. The system of 1% taxation is also beneficial to the town as well. Prospering players (players with 1k or over in their account) are taxed more than players who have only a little. 1,000 coins in your balance will result in a 10 coin taxation. While this is a significantly higher taxation rate than poorer members, it is also more affordable for the more experienced players, successfully keeping the town's balance up.

3, Item Protection: To keep things neat, prevent fraud, and otherwise ease the flow of events in Falkova; town members are assigned personal plots. These personal plots - while accessable to any town member - are unable to be altered by any except the town owners themselves or the plot owner. Theft, although prohibited among town members, still happens, along with the very rare occasion of a break-in. To prevent theft it is recommended that the plot's doors and chests are obstructed by some sort of block (I use dirt) to prevent unwanted usage. The chest cannot be opened with a block above it, therefore after using the chest, placing a block above it will prevent any and all usage until the block is removed again. As for the town owners, we have no reason or grounds to confiscate your goods, so consider them truly protected in Falkova, as they will not be touched by any besides yourselves. Note that if the town owners find you guilty of fraud your items WILL be forcefully removed from your chests and redistributed to their proper owners. Raiding of opposing land is allowed and even encouraged, theft between town members and trade fraud is absolutely not. LWCs are probibited in the town simply due to them being a hassle. I will not give anymore reasons for this here due to my reasons being extensive. Speak to Origen_is_sam or JerCoolDude if you have any specific questions regarding LWC protection.

4, Ranks, Perks, and Plots: Regardless of your stance on the server, whether being a veteran, entrepreneur, or noon - you will always be assigned the lowest level of plot when first joining Falkova. Respect is to be earned, then given. Not the other way around. There are five ranks of membership within the town, and three to be achieved. The first is Lord, of which there will ever be only two, Origen_is_sam and JerCoolDude. The ancient Lords govern Falkova with wisdom and valour, always seeking the path of greater good. Lordship is not something to be achieved, only respected. Lords have access to everything within Falkova, for indeed they are it's creators. It was they who first delved into the earth and wrought Falkova out of iron and stone and fire. The second is Steward, only personal friends of the Lords may become Stewards, attending to the needs of the community. Stewards are given permission by the Lords to carry out their tasks, whatever they may be. While Stewards themselves are unable to alter blocks and recruit/remove members, they are loyal to the Lords and are the most trustworthy of people. Do not ask to be made a Steward, this is a privilege granted to those who are outstanding by the Lords themselves. Stewards have access to the Steward's Quarter. Third, Nobles. Nobles are those who are respected throughout the community due to their hardworking ethic and wisdom. Nobles are those who hold high reputation among the Lords for their outstanding attitude and valiant effort to the community. Requirements for becoming a Noble include: Mastery of at least one class, and at least one profession, not counting Lost Soul or Crafter. More than six months of residence in Falkova, and aptitude for manual labor and town assistance (players who help with town matters as requested by the Lords will find themselves in higher standing among the people). If the following conditions are met, it is up to the discretion of the Lords to grant Nobility. Please inquire about Nobility if the requirements are met. Nobles have access to the Noble Quarter and all town utilities, including all previous permissions. After ascending to Nobility you are responsible for transferring your belongings from the previous plot to the Noble Plot, within a few days of this your previous plot's privileges will be reset, and your new priveleges permanently instated. The fourth rank is Citizen. Citizens of Falkova are beginning to rise among the ranks, quickly becoming those who are to make a difference in this world. The requirements for Citizenship are the mastery of at least Crafter, and the ambition to master both a class and profession. Along with being a resident of Falkova for at least one month, and minor contributions to town prosperity, as ordained by the Lords. Perks of Citizenship include a greatly expanded plot, the Citizen Plot, which gives access to additional utilities and storage space. And access to some town utilities, including certain farms like wheat, potatoes and carrots. As with Nobles, you are responsible for transferring your items into your new plot after Citizenship, or it shall be done for you by a Lord or Steward. Your rights to the previous plot will be revoked within a few days. The fifth and lowest rank is that of the Member. Falkova is accepting of the poor and needy, and none are more so than the Members. Members are invited inside the warmth of Falkova, away from the harsh elements. Here, Members receive shelter and safety, are given a room and a place to stay, as well as a community to be in. Membership has no prerequisites, any outsider may become a Member if they only ask. Membership perks include: Access to the Private Quarter, and access to a Member Plot. Member Plots are the smallest of plots, but provide enough room for a person to dwell safely and with fear of bandits or theives. Members have no other perks besides residence, but may achieve that through Citizenship or even Nobility if they work hard enough.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

More will come at a later date, but until then, enjoy your stay in Falkova and have fun exploring the vast lands of New Atlas!

I am interested in joining your town. Should I message your ingame or elsewhere to join?

Sorry about not answering those messages. I was offline for a greatly extended period of time due to work. All township applications are handled in-game, and while applications via the forums are acceptable, Falkova is not strict in accepting new members and will often recruit on-the-spot.

More information on the Falkova Shop.

The shop is taking longer than anticipated due to a few elements.

1: I've been working on the expansion and betterment of life for the town and members as a whole, before we benefit others we need to benefit ourselves. Sorry!

2: The two owners have been working at achieving enlightenment, and as such have been spending a great deal of time leveling and searching for tomes.

3: Honestly I just don't really like the new shop plugin as much as the old, hate to say it. From what I understand it is still being tweaked, and I wish to refrain from using it for a time due to what happened last time.
