can't login! i was gonna login for the first time but i cant here are some screenshots (pls help!):

As to why some server have players:

The user authentication server is down "Not working as intended", the main server is online. Minecraft is not able to verify the authenticity of player's usernames when connecting to servers who have "Online-mode=true" which, is default. If turned off, this can potentially let hacked clients connect. Many servers are currently using this as a quick fix but that's a bad BAD BAD idea.

TL;DR:
Others are taking a risk Herocraft doesn't want to.

Unknown - mollstam thought it was fixed and went to bed.

The server is up without issue.

The DNS/Session servers are being DDOS'd (Mojang's issue)

The problem will resolve itself without any staff interaction - just be patient.
