Boats that can be reused?

I know its not hard to make boats again, but I think it would be cool if you could pick them up like minecarts. crashing could still destroy, but I think if the boats were re-usable we could start seeing really cool things, like PvP over water that isnt lame.

I tend to make more than one boats when i know im going to be using it extensively.

It's really easy to make plus when it break you still get some material back. Although if it's not hard to code maybe that could be changed just for the hell of it?

Go for it; keep us updated on the progress. This just isn't necessary; very cheap to make.

I am not sure if the DropEdit or similar plugins work with boats, but it might be possible to change it so they drop a boat instead of the 2 plants and 3 sticks. For what it's worth.​
