Reason for ban: Advertising?
Your story: I was banned for advertising, and I would like to appeal it. I'm not sure what to say for myself, it wasn't really actually advertising.... I'm not sure exactly what I was banned for, because I'm pretty sure the only borderline thing I've done in last 16 hrs was talk about dwarfcraft... which is NOT a server, but an old heroes mod (sort of thing) that was discontinued back in like beta or something...

You were trying to get people to play the server that shall not be mentioned with you as they had a map reset happening soon.

Lying on your ban appeal is never a good idea as we never ban people without evidence.
