Patch 1.18 = MC 1.6.6
The Herocraft Test server is currently running 1.0. I think it is on port 1337, I can't remember off the top of my head. So, for the address, type herocraft.zapto.org:1337. We won't be able to update to 1.0 until all of the plugins have been updated by their developers. -

[Heros] price of specing to a pre mastered class
It's not a bad idea, but the coders don't like to add timers on things. The more things the server has to check, the slower it runs. They ran into this issue when they were first working with players replacing blocks for exp.- Alator

How has minecraft changed since you started playing?
The old magic system. There were spells like Blink and Lightwalk and such that you could find in mazes and dungeons spread around the world.
