It's because on Sanctum a towns existence was based solely on the number of active members within the town. So people would always recruit any new comers because they wanted to stay active. Zeal this changed but many of the old leaders of Sanctum were still running towns so out of it just being... -

I think a limit should be set for this map. If it doesn't work out the limit can always be lifted later in the map. Also will town prices/taxes remain the same since the economy could very well be drastically different with Emeralds controlling it instead of Gold. -

So gold will be totally worthless now? I think it should still hold some value while emeralds are super expensive. Also the glass dome thing is unfortunate, i started that craze with Underdeep on Sanctum. If domes are to be illegal this map it looks like I won't be able to build a deep...
