(out dated) Releasing the HeroModPack!
You need to launch the launcher while using java 6, and not java 7. to do this locate your the folder in terminal where the technic.jar (or whatever) is (using ls, and cd). Then type export JAVA_HOME=/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk/Contents/Home press enter. and type: java... -
