I'm kinda torn on this one. It last 30 seconds, and a drawn out regen heal can be very useful, but 150 health over 30 seconds is too little I think. We could either lower the time to finish, or raise the healing amount, either works in my book.

Seeing as it's aoe with a range of 20 which is AWESOME. I think it's fine.

Maybe 175 or 200 health? Sort of a shame to lose pray. Bandage is a pretty scrappy skill. I can see this definitely working, though.

Seems pretty good, the removal of pray wouldn't be too much of a loss due to the other healing skills they're capable of although I agree to increase the health to 200 maybe?

150 does seem a bit shallow for a period of 30 seconds. Great skill though. Should definentaly help mystics become a more widely used class.

Okay... we can change the heal amount and the duration of the heal.

Would 20 seconds for 150 hp be a better deal? They don't have to lose pray... but I'm not really sure what else to grant / remove. We can just grant them HealingBloom and keep Pray in....

I think 20 seconds with a 200 heal would be acceptable. I don't think they should keep Pray, I feel that mystics should be a HoT based healer.

From my recent experience as a 32 mystic in the real server and 60 mystic on test, the single target one-time (not HoT heals) more often than not are bigger lifesavers than the HoT heals (ex: bandage when you're low leveled, pray mid level, and chant high level). This is being said without any experience with HealingBloom in game, though.

Kain - would you remove Bandage or Chant as well and replace them with HoT and or other alternatives?

EDIT: Damn, gameplay is REALLY fun with HealingBloom. It'd be nice for mystic to keep around at least 1 non-HoT skill, but the new addition is awesome. :)

I think changing up some of the levels when mystic gains skills would be nice. There's a 10 level gap between 40 and 50 with no skills.

Proposal:
Revive at 45, down from 50
Chant at 50, down from 51

Healing Bloom range: bugged or not?

What if the loss of Pray was counteracted partially by making Healing Bloom a reverse Bloodboil (modest HoT with a burst heal at the end)?

We probably need to do an entirely new skill-level-line up for Mystic.

give them some really useful stuff early... and maybe bolt at level 60.

Switch Replenish with Invigorate.

(If it's still on topic, I wouldn't mind bringing back up Batfury again...)

Skill Suggestions:

Replenish at 20, down from 55
Revive at 45, down from 50
Chant at 50, down from 51

Either put Forage at 21 or remove it.

jake332211 and Licksterboy have been talking about Mystic:

Problems:
-Low Survival compared to Clerics (Obvious but Ill explain the thought process about this later in this thread).
-Decent heals, but low output compared to Cleric.

Though Kain wants the spotlight in healing to go to Cleric it doesn't mean other classes shouldn't have a chance to "almost" compete with Clerics in healing.

Mystics, have great potential. For the most part they can be played well in open fields with mass kiting (very difficult to keep people up), however they're simply not useful enough for something like a tourny group.

Two things to be changed:

-Add another chainmail armor option. Preferably legs or chest (or both), this will increase our survival to aid our allies due to having no invuln as a easy mode option to avoid damage, kiting only goes so far.
-Add another healing spell, or buff the current ones. Preferably another group heal, but this time direct instead of a low group heal over time.

I disagree with the emphasis the above post places on the comparison of one specialization to another, since each spec has its own individual goals set forth by the balance team cheat sheet.

I would like to be more active on the balance team and am volunteering to help take a comprehensive look at mystic.
