After a recent underground encounter, I had what I think is a cool idea.
Don't you hate when you're hangin' out in your awesome hidden underground base and someone finds you because your nametag is visible? What if you could line your ceiling with obsidian blocks, effectively blocking your nametag to anyone on the other side? This would raise the price for obsidian even more, making it impractical to stick obsidian over your head while mining, but it would be possible to keep your secret base hidden. It would also give an incentive for people to choose classes that have access to diamond picks over, say, the rogue class because not everyone needs /sneak.
Possibly, you could make it require multiple layers of obsidian, or make each additional layer cause your nametag to become less opaque, which would avoid making this overpowered.
Just an idea I though would be kinda cool. Not sure if its possible, I've heard fiddling with nametags is difficult. Feel free to make fun of me if this is a stupid idea
